Musica Mancante (Missing Music), a deeply evocative piece from Remoi’s Abstract Collection, presents itself as a visual palimpsest where sound seems to have crystallized into matter. Unlike more uniform backgrounds, this surface is a whirlwind of blues, whites, and red accents, applied with a restless gesturality that suggests interrupted motion—a harmony struggling to realign. The metallic frame, with its irregular edges and visible welds, acts as a resonance chamber barely containing the energy of the paint.

At the bottom, a sequence of yellow and red vertical lines vibrates like the strings of a silent instrument or the frequencies of a visual score.
