Motivo infantile

Motivo Infantile (Childlike Motif), a vibrant piece from Remoi’s Abstract Collection, moves away from dramatic atmospheres to embrace a dimension of lightness and explosive candor. The visual field is dominated by an electric blue—deep and uniform—evoking the infinity of a summer sky or the purity of a mental space free from constraints. As with other works in the series, the jagged, irregular edges contain the chromatic matter, which appears to float above the metallic base.

The heart of the work is inhabited by yellow marks that chase one another with the spontaneity typical of a child’s stroke: scribbles, tangles of light, and darting lines that communicate a sense of play and absolute creative freedom. Adding to this solar dynamism are hints of red—small bursts of color dotting the lower section, like traces of a sudden emotion.
