Colori Arlecchino

With Colori Arlecchino (Harlequin Colors), the artist Remoi inaugurates his new collection titled Arlecchino, a project celebrating the chromatic vibrancy and geometric fragmentation typical of the famous Commedia dell'Arte mask. In this first piece, the work presents itself as an explosion of pure energy, where color becomes the absolute protagonist of a joyful and vibrant visual narrative.

The composition is structured in three vertical bands: two wide lateral sections of a deep, textural ultramarine blue frame a central column dense with contrasts. This central part is a mosaic of thick, irregular brushstrokes: fiery orange, solar yellow, bright red, and light blue interlock with one another, separated by thin black outlines that recall the patches of the Harlequin costume.

On the blue lateral bands, Remoi applies his unmistakable stylistic hallmark: thin white filaments in relief that run vertically. These marks, resembling trails of light or silk threads, give the work a tactile three-dimensionality and a sense of lightness that balances the chromatic density of the center. Colori Arlecchino is a hymn to variety and dynamism, a work that invites the viewer to rediscover wonder through a bold and expertly balanced play of colors.
