Forme Arlecchino

In Forme Arlecchino (Harlequin Shapes), Remoi's Arlecchino collection reaches a perfect synthesis between classical iconography and contemporary abstraction. The painting stands out for its powerful chromatic impact, where red becomes the dominant force, enveloping and warming the entire composition.

The canvas is structured with the characteristic vertical tripartition: two wide bands of bright, vibrant red, applied with directional brushstrokes that create a dense texture, frame a central column. In the center, the artist pays direct tribute to the costume of the Bergamasque mask through a mosaic of perfect diamonds. Solar yellow, light blue, emerald green, brown, and red interlock in a precise geometric rhythm, outlined by sharp black borders that enhance the brilliance of each individual chromatic "patch".

On the red lateral bands, Remoi executes a dynamic and nervous graphic play: long black and white filaments in relief intertwine in sinuous and chaotic lines.
