Madre Terra
Madre Terra (Mother Earth), part of a new conceptual trilogy of One Line Collection, is a hymn to life and the stewardship of our planet. At the heart of the composition, a stylized figure—rendered with a dynamic, almost childlike black stroke—delicately holds the terrestrial globe, as if it were a precious gift or a shared responsibility. The Earth is painted with deep blues and touches of yellow, evoking oceans and landmasses pulsing against a luminous, textural white background.
The disruptive element of the work is the stunning three-dimensional Sun in golden metal rising from the upper-left corner. With its sinuous rays extending beyond the boundaries of the black frame, the Sun is not merely a source of light but a physical presence that warms the entire scene. Splashes of yellow and thin lines traverse the canvas's sky, suggesting energy currents and the radiant heat of the star. Madre Terra represents the delicate balance between humanity and nature, transforming the canvas into a poetic reminder of the beauty and fragility of our world.
