Formalinea Tre

In Formalinea Tre, Remoi's exploration within the Formalinea collection moves toward an increasingly dynamic and vertical synthesis. In this third chapter, the artist explores the precarious balance of the mark, transforming the line into an entity that seems to defy gravity within an absolute space.

The minimal, Zen-like white background serves as a stage for an architecture of essential marks. As in previous works in the series, a base of soft, gray shading creates an ethereal depth, upon which the main "motif" is grafted: a complex and nervous structure, traced with a bold black that recalls the fluidity of Oriental calligraphy. The characteristic white filament in relief runs along these trajectories, adding a sculptural light that defines the volumes and tensions of the composition.

In Formalinea Tre, the gesture becomes more rapid and intertwined; the lines overlap and cross with a rhythm that suggests an ascending movement. The work is a hymn to formal purity and the power of the stroke, where every junction and every curve tells the constant dialogue between the artist's abstract thought and the material reality of the canvas.
