Natura Infinita

With Natura Infinita (Infinite Nature), Remoi’s Natura Futura collection reaches one of its most explicitly conceptual peaks. The work moves away from the dynamic gesturalism of the Cascate to build a powerful and static icon, a universal symbol encapsulating the secret of perpetual regeneration. The artist does not portray a landscape; instead, he distills its internal logic, presenting life itself as a closed, indestructible circuit defying the passage of time.

Natura Infinita strikes the viewer with its symbolic symmetry, structured against a background that transitions vertically from a brilliant, almost solar yellow to a textural, golden ochre. Dominating the center of the composition is a large infinity symbol (or Möbius strip) traced with a thick, irregular black stroke, framing an ecological paradox.

In the top right half, a blot of red and white paint, resembling an explosion or a wound, contrasts with the natural order. Emerging from this vital core is an elegant deciduous tree, rooted directly onto the symbol’s perimeter. The tree, with its delicate green canopy, stands against a dry-brush white cloud of paint in the left half, symbolizing the persistence of life over chaos.

The true kinetic miracle occurs in the bottom half of the symbol. The left section, enclosed between the two passes of the strip, is filled with dark, mysterious water moving within it. The right section, conversely, has an opening from which a perfect cascade of white water flows. This waterfall descends and dissolves into a horizontal body of water, rendered with thick, textural white paint strokes simulating foam and the movement of the collecting water. At the center, the bottom point of the symbol seems to project a root or reflected shadow into the water below, linking the abstract form to the earth.

Natura Infinita is a hymn to resilience: the tree flourishes from destruction (the red) and water flows unceasingly, but the entire system is enclosed within the cycle of infinity. Nothing is lost, everything transforms and regenerates in a perpetual flow that Remoi’s art crystallizes into an icon of hope.
