Rinato

With Rinato (Reborn), Remoi’s Destruct Construct collection reaches its logical and spiritual conclusion. While previous works spoke of destruction, waste, and wear, here the focus shifts entirely to metamorphosis: fragments of the past are no longer just reassembled rubble but seeds giving life to a new, lush chromatic existence.

Rinato is an explosion of vitality that seems to defy gravity and chaos. Against a deep, textural black background, Remoi has layered fragments of previous canvases dominated by intense emerald green and cobalt blue. These "pieces of history" have been torn and repositioned with newfound strength, held together by thick cords of black and yellow medium that resemble lifeblood or roots making their way through rocks.

The work is punctuated by touches of sun-yellow that illuminate the composition, providing a sense of optimism and rebirth. As in other pieces of the series, a small figurative illustration appears at the bottom left: a landscape with pyramids under a rain of symbols—a detail that acts as a narrative anchor in a sea of abstraction. The raw metal frame, shaped with wavy edges and visible welds, not only protects but enhances the painting's internal energy. Rinato is proof that for Remoi, the act of destruction is never an end in itself, but the necessary passage to allow a more mature, complex, and vibrant beauty to flourish.
